The following is homework for school: I have a catalpa tree in my backyard. The tree has long, bean-like seed pods on it and lots and lots and LOTS of big leaves. Under all these leaves are branches. Big, small, thick, thin, these branches are everywhere. At the base of the tree, the ground is covered with a pile of mulch. And in late spring, the tree is covered with beautiful white flowers. I think our tree is wonderful.

I have 5 people in my family. I have a big, gentle dog named Baloo. He is a black lab/German Shepherd mix ( who is afraid of water). He hates the groundhogs that live under our deck and loves his frisbees (he has 3). I also have a sister named Megan. She is very playful and snuggly. Dad likes to make beer and he also teaches people about computers. Mom likes to spend time with me and Megan and likes to scrapbook. As for me, I like to spend time with my family.
